World Book Day

Today World Book Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm, with many staff and students dressing up as their favourite book characters. Throughout the day, a range of engaging activities took place in the back drama studio, including making personalised bookmarks and playing word-based games such as Scrabble. Students also received a World Book Day book token to take home, encouraging them to choose a book of their own. The day highlighted the importance of reading for pleasure and reinforced how reading can inspire imagination, build knowledge and support learning across all subjects.
