Year 11
Head of Year: Mr Liddle
As the Head of Year 11, I am thrilled to embark on this journey with the students as we navigate through one of the most important stages of their educational experience.
Year 11 is a time of significant growth and change. It’s a year where they will focus on both academic excellence and personal development, preparing them for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. Our goal is to support them every step of the way, helping them to achieve their best while also fostering skills and qualities that will benefit them long beyond their school years.
At Chadwell Heath Academy our ethos is built upon a foundation of core values that we believe are essential for personal and academic success. We encourage every student to embrace responsibility for their own learning and actions, striving to be proactive and dependable in all aspects of school life. We foster a spirit of enterprise, inspiring students to be innovative and take initiative, both in their studies and in their personal endeavours. Sympathy and tolerance are central to our community, as we value empathy and respect for all individuals, creating an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and heard. We promote positivity and energy, motivating students to approach challenges with an optimistic mindset and enthusiasm. Lastly, we champion courage, urging students to face obstacles with bravery and resilience, stepping out of their comfort zones to grow and achieve. By embodying these values, we create a supportive and dynamic school culture where every student can thrive and make a meaningful contribution.

- Parental Engagement: We value the partnership between school and home. Regular communication will be key to supporting your child’s progress, and we encourage parents to be actively involved in their educational journey.
- Key Events: Look out for important dates and events throughout the year, including mock exams, parent-teacher meetings, and celebration events. These will be shared with you regularly to ensure you stay informed and engaged.
