Sports Round Up

Football fixtures have begun this year and we have had 4 fixtures so far. The years 11's managed a close encounter with Oak's Park snatching victory with 5 minutes to go to win 3-2 and progress to the next stage of the cup.

The year 10's were left disappointed after Oak's Park had to forfeit the fixture due to lack of players, meaning the game will be rescheduled for another date.

The year 9 team were agonisingly close to beating Wanstead. After coming from behind twice to level the match at 2-2 and then 3-3, Wanstead came up with a winning goal. Man of the match was Samiul Miah who scored a 30 yard screamer!

The year 8's were next on the list and headed to Issac Newton Aacdemy. Unfortunately with a couple of key players missing the boys couldn't come back with the win and lost 2-0. A brave performance by Elkanah Akor (in whihc he hit the bar at 1-0 down) gave him a deserved man of the match performance.

Coming up we have a 6th form fixture V Woodbridge on Wednesday and Year 7 and Year 10 cup games to follow the week after.
