Shakespeare Schools Festival

On Thursday 7th March Chadwell Heath Academy performed alongside two other local schools at the Kenneth More Theatre in Ilford as part of the Shakespeare Schools Festival, the world’s largest youth drama festival.

Our students performed an abridged adaptation of ‘The Tempest’ and their energy and talent shone onstage - a truly unforgettable experience for them, and their families who came to support.

It’s no mean feat to perform on a professional stage in front of such a large audience and all our pupils deserve huge congratulations for their achievement. They have been rehearsing our production since last November, putting in many hours of hard work after school. Their dedication and professionalism is to be commended.
