We are currently advertising for the following positions:

School Business Manager

£40,000 - £50,000 per annum dependent on experience

Start Date:     1st August, 2022

There will be an opportunity to discuss start date at interview and – dependent on availability – to commence the post in July to facilitate handover.

Chadwell Heath Academy seeks the appointment of a dynamic and creative School Business Manager.  This is an exciting opportunity to work in partnership with the Headteacher, Senior Leadership Team and Governing Body and play a key role in the leadership of the school. 

The successful applicant will be responsible for the management of the school’s financial, personnel, business management, administrative, premises and catering services.  They will work within a collaborative team and line manage a finance assistant and office staff.

The successful candidate should offer a relevant professional qualification and/or experience in the field of Business Management.  Experience of in the management of finance and personnel within a school or similar environment is desirable but not essential.

The successful candidate will understand the key principles and procedures of financial control, be proficient in the use of computer software, have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and recognise the need to maintain strict confidentiality.

The position of School Business Manager at Chadwell Heath Academy is a permanent, full-time post.  The school offers a friendly, comfortable environment in which to work and the opportunity for continuing professional development.

Teacher of English (MPS + Outer London Allowance)

We are looking to appoint a well-qualified and committed specialist teacher of English for September 2022. We welcome applications from ECTs.

At Chadwell Heath Academy we provide an excellent education for all of our pupils. In our last inspection the School was judged to be ‘Outstanding’ by OFSTED in all categories. We believe strongly in comprehensive education and its ability to change lives.   • Humanities subjects have an excellent long-term track record of academic success. At Key Stage 4 attainment and progress are consistently well above the national average. In the last year in which pupils were examined externally (2019) performance across the departments was as follows:

o Geography: 82% Grades 9-4, 68% Grades 9-5 and 28% Grades 9-7

o History: 93% Grades 9-4, 82% Grades 9-5 and 45% Grades 9-7

o Religious St: 93% Grades 9-4, 91% Grades 9-5 and 45% Grades 9-7
